first 3 chapters are enough?
I think about starting playing GW. Eye of the North wasn't included in budget FAQ so I have a question: are first three chapters enough to have some chances on PvP? I heard that EotN have some obligatory healing skill.
I have my old Nightfall and I can afford only two more campaigns. Last edited by Hareton; Jul 03, 2009 at 11:56 AM // 11:56.. |

You can still play PvP with 3 campaigns and try various builds..
eotn is used mainly on pve due to its unique pve skills.. but it would be better if u also has eotn but whatever xD |

There is also this pvp pack, but it needs upgrade so it's probably more expensive than campaigns... ( I have Nightfall already.)

PvP packs are to unlock all skills, insignias, etc. that you would normally unlock either through balthazar faction or normal pve gameplay by id'ing items.
I believe you can buy one of those for EOTN but it's twice as expensive as the actual campaign, and there's only 10 skills for each profession, albeit in general, some of them are generally used apart from monk skills as far as I know - most of those are used throught the entire game. So handicaped? Seriously, no. Somewhat? Yes. Just buy the actual campaign and be done with it. |

Just buy those 2 then. You will miss out on a couple of skills, but nothing you should worry about. When time comes you can always buy EotN when you have some more money to spare.
Or you can buy the Proph+EotN edition, which is only a little bit more expensive then Prophecies alone, and Factions. |

i don't know what your budget is, but i'm pretty sure you can get proph, factions, and eotn for $10 each if you look hard enough.
